A Newhall man whose sport utility vehicle veered off a Santa Clarita road and rolled several times died early today.
Luis Gonsalez, 28, was fatally injured when his Ford Explorer went off Sierra Highway about a mile south of Newhall Road, hit an embankment and rolled several times about 1:45 a.m., sheriff's Lt. Joe Efflandt said.
No other vehicles were involved, he said.
Deputies at the sheriff's Santa Clarita station were in charge of the investigation.
