Ian Ziering and his wife Erin became first-time parents to a baby girl on Monday.

Even Steve Sanders eventually became a father ? and now his real-life alter ego has, too.

"Beverly Hills, 90210" star Ian Ziering and his wife, Erin Ludwig, welcomed their first child Monday night, according to TooFab.com.

The couple, who wed last May, announced they were expecting in the fall.

"Erin and I are very excited to be parents. It's something we both have always wanted," Ziering, 47, told People.com at the time.

The actor had revealed that, with Ludwig already four-and-a-half-months along, they already knew their baby would be a girl.

And while Ziering and Ludwig didn't name their newborn Madeline, like the daughter of his famous character, they did choose another "M" name."

The couple opted for Mia Loren, after Ziering's late mother, Micki, a source told People.com, adding that the little one weighed in at 7 pounds and 6 ounces.

"Well, it's official, I'm a dad!," he reportedly wrote on Facebook. "As I sit holding Mia, Erin sleeps the most beautiful sleep."

"My thoughts race with visions of a brighter future, only made possible by what happens today... or, last night!" he continued. "God bless us all."
