Lady Gaga breaks down in tears in a new documentary.

The quirky singer sobs in front of the mirror as she admits she hasn't got over her troubled teenage years.

'I still sometimes feel like a loser kid in high school,' says Gaga, 25.

'I just have to pick myself up and tell myself that I'm a superstar every morning so that I can get through this day and be for my fans what they need for me to be.

'But sometimes I still feel like people are trying to destroy me. I cannot be destroyed, I will not be destroyed and you will never destroy the kingdom that is my fans.'

'I just wanna be a queen for them and sometimes I don't feel like one. It's not about being a winner for me any more. It's about being a winner for all of them.'

Just before she's about to go on stage to perform for her Monster Ball tour, Gaga goes on to have a word with God.

'Dear Lord, please give me strength to be a winner for all my fans and not for myself,' she prays in front of the camera for documentary Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden.

'Dear Lord, remind me not to empower myself but those around me, because that is my gift.

'My gift is not self-worship but the worship of others. So please help me to be strong.'
