Ripe young starlets usually steal the show but Monday night's 2011 Met Costume Institute Gala belonged to a trio of women over the age of 40.�

Naomi Campbell�made a statement in Alexander McQueen, Madonna�was prettily dressed in a hand-embroidered Stella McCartney dress and�Demi Moore�stunned in a feathered Prabal Gurung gown. �

"True cougars never give up the fight," explained Joan Rivers on Friday night's Fashion Police show. "Madonna's embracing [menopause]. She's doing a sequel to one of her hit movies, Desperately Seeking Social Security."
