Aside from making some serious Beezid cash in the luxury of her own home, Lindsay Lohan has been doing all kinds of interviews during her house arrest. Except one.
Reports claim that the young starlet "shut down" a Matt Lauer interview for Today right before it started yesterday, but E! News finds out that's only partially true...

A rep from Today does tell us that "Matt traveled to Los Angeles after Lindsay Lohan agreed to a sit-down interview at her home. When he arrived at her home, she had a change of heart and wasn't prepared to talk for more than 15 minutes as she had agreed, so the interview was canceled."
But Lindsay's publicist Steve Honig tells E! News exclusively that there was no showdown with Lauer, and that it was he, not Lindsay, who ultimately pulled the plug on the interview.
"We thought this was going to be a quick, brief check-in with the Today show. You know, how's she doing, what she's been up to. She likes to cook, so I thought she might cook something up for them. But Lindsay wasn't prepared to do a lengthy, two-hour in-depth interview," he says.
And as far as all the commotion that was said to go down?never happened.
"There was no drama, no door slamming. It was a case of miscommunication," Honig tells us.

"Once they started setting up with Matt, I found out about what they wanted to do. So I pulled Lindsay aside and she said, ?What do you think I should do?' I told her I didn't think it was a good idea, and I ultimately told Matt Lauer we weren't doing it, not Lindsay. She felt very badly about it. But Matt was a perfect gentleman."
But Honig was still very displeased with the way this situation was handled, and didn't waste much time in voicing why that is.
"I find it disconcerting that these people were in her home and someone decided to take advantage of the situation. I wish whoever made a quick 50 bucks off leaking the story to TMZ would have called me first because I would have offered them 75, and this never would have been an issue."
