OMExpo Investor Day, part of the March 17th OMExpo event, brought together investors wishing to� invest in innovative digital Spanish companies.
The Investor Day included an investment award to the winner Kantox of ? 25,000 to the most entrepreneurial start up sponsored by KOMM Investment.
Two of the finalists were award winners at Startup Weekend Barcelona, organized by Ellas 2.0, The Nextwomen?s Spanish media partner:
Most Innovative Project Award: Tripku is a social network allowing travellers to meet travel companions according to personal needs and to design and manage trips.
Best Team Award: Kantox is a business / finance web platform offering hedge exchange rates for companies operating in foreign currency. (Also winners of the OMExpo investor day, ahead of the other 9 finalists!)
In�related news,�Ellas 2.0 have also �announced a partnership agreement with the Bureau Veritas Business School.
This collaboration aims to gain even more visibility for women entrepreneurs in our community. Each month, the founder of a�technology-based business will talk about their project and their experience of the e-learning platform available through Bureau Veritas.
