Bill Hader really, really likes "The Book of Mormon." Practically the minute the lights went down at the Eugene O'Neill Theater at Thursday's star-studded opening-night performance, our favorite "Saturday Night Live" cast member was in full-body hysterics over the Trey Stone, Matt Parker and Robert Lopez musical. We sat next to Hader, who left the impression that he's seen the show more than once, and there were moments when his chortling shook the entire row of first-nighters and competed with the mic'ed up performers onstage. Hader also literally slapped his knees when he laughed, and at one point apologized for one of his more explosive laughing fits. "I'm sorry, so sorry," he told us. "It's just I love this show so much."

Also enjoying the musical were filmmaker Ron Howard and actor Paul Rudd, who sat behind Hader and his wife. Before the show, the "SNL" star and Rudd were laughing hysterically over a photo on Rudd's iPhone of John Travolta with a long, flowing black mane. We don't know what they were saying, but it was apparent that both wanted to sport the look.

Paz gets pardoned

Paz de deux - in the wake of our scoop on Paz de la Huerta's run-in with Samantha Swetra at the Top of the Standard early last Sunday ? and the "Boardwalk Empire" actress' subsequent arrest on Tuesday ? we hear cops have pulled surveillance video from the club. Despite other media outlets' reports that an angry Swetra uttered her now-famous "triple axel!" line because Paz was flirting with her boyfriend, an insider insists Sami's beau was not at the club. Rather, Paz was talking to a gal pal's boyfriend.

Hair today, on display tomorrow

True Beliebers! You may have missed your chance to buy Justin Bieber's hair, but you can still pay for the chance to stand near it. Ellen DeGeneres auctioned off a clipping for $40,668 earlier this month, and Miami men's-wear company Stone Rose has the lock on loan for a "picture day" it'll host Tuesday. Fans will be able to pose with the Bieb-hair in exchange for a suggested donation to Operation USA, which helps Japanese tsunami victims.

Weathering the competition

Lynn Forester de Rothschild is more Madison Ave. than Madison, Wis. ? but that may be about to change. The mogul has been spending more time on the "silicon prairie," as she calls it, due to one of her latest investments: Weather Central. Last month, she and husband Evelyn de Rothschild's private investment company, E.L. Rothschild LLC, purchased a 70% stake in the weather data service, and we hear the couple are quite bullish on the climate biz. (Their other holdings include The Economist media group.) With the help of the Rothschilds' international clout, Weather Central plans to bring its wares ? now used by such media outlets as "Good Morning America" ? to the consumer marketplace. On-deck is a suite of digital products dubbed "MyWeather" that will put the company in direct competition with the Weather Channel, AccuWeather and WeatherBug. But will it be able to tell us if we need an umbrella tomorrow?

On the right foot

Sturdiness isn't just for buildings at Architectural Digest. At last week's DIFFA "Dining by Design" gala, the magazine's editor, Margaret Russell, took the stage to accept an award despite a broken ankle ? the result of surgery for an old injury, we hear. Russell navigated the event without crutches, and very chicly matched her cast to her black cocktail dress. Now that's practical design!
