She's one tough cookie, but Hayden Panettiere had quite the scare when someone tried to break into her house.
During her appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Tuesday (April 12), the ?Heroes? star told Ellen about how an intruder had tried to get into her home.
After a short power outage in her neighborhood, the petite blond had heard someone trying to get into her home through an office door - so she grabbed her taser gun, a panic button and her phone before hiding in a bathroom.
But when minutes went by and the police had not shown up yet, Panettiere decided to shimmy her way out of the bathroom window, only to then be surrounded by the cops who had just shown up.
After yelling, ?Don?t shoot,? Hayden was safe, the potential intruder was long gone and she has since moved out of that home.
